Up for auction is this 1977 Mercedes-Benz 300D with 118,887 miles.

Vehicle is originally from California and has all books, keys, data card and data plate.

The vehicle was traded in at a new car dealership in New Jersey and was purchased by a NJ used car dealer.

The vehicle was driven approximately 250 miles when the lower oil cooler line ruptured while driving.

The oil cooler line has been replaced and all fresh fluids installed as well as new glow plugs.

The vehicle now has a noise in the motor that has not been diagnosed, but it may need a rebuild?

The dealer has decided that rather than invest time and money into this car, that he will sell it completely AS-IS.

Still runs and drives

Original Becker Stereo function 100%

Heat and defrost works

Driver door striker needs adjustment

Rear passenger side window needs regulator

Non Functioning AC

Small dash cracks

The car is presently located in New Jersey and could make for a great project car for those mechanically inclined.

I would hate to see it wind up as a parts car, but there is a great deal of value in the parts alone.

We simply do not have the time to take on this car as a project, and we are in agreement to sell the car to the highest bid regardless of the final number.
