Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice 560 SL Convertible with low miles, finished in it's rare and fantastic color scheme. This car was recently purchased from it's seller in Arkansas who purchased it previously from a Mercedes Benz dealer there as a trade-in. This car runs and drives exceptionally well and shows all of this signs of a well-taken-care-of vehicle. It's in generally very nice original condition overall, with the bonus of a brand new dark brown quality cloth soft top recently fitted.The body on this car is excellent with no signs of rust or damage. The paintwork appears to be original with the exception of a repainted rear tonneau panel, very common. It has held up very well overall. Upon close inspection, there are the usual mixed chips and small scratches from 30 years of normal use, but the car is quite impressive nonetheless.The car's interior trim appears to be 100% original. The wood is very decent. The dashboard has a few small repairable cracks mostly up near the windshield vents. There is some noticeable fade to some of the carpet pieces. The door panels are excellent along with the other interior panels. Seats are very good to excellent except for a small repair needed in each bottom cushion. The soft top is crisp and new. The car's hardtop is extremely nice with no issues.Mechanically the car runs like a dream. It starts instantly on the key with no noises or rattles, idles well, has great oil pressure, no smoke. It exhibits every sign of a perfectly healthy engine. The car drives beautifully down the road without any issues relating to brakes, steering, suspension, gearbox, etc.The car includes it's original tool kit, original Pirelli spare tire, jack, hard top tools, operating manual, literature, receipts for a recent service and new Michelin tires at 94k miles, a CA Consumer Affairs receipt showing it lived here in the early 90's.Overall, a very nice and honest 560 SL in a luxurious color scheme, that runs and drives superbly. This car is sensibly priced and is a smart buy going forward.
