Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice 560 SL Convertible in a crisp original color scheme. This car was recently purchased from it's older Virginia owner who just wasn't using the car enough now because of his age. The car runs and drives well and presents nicely in all around good condition.The body on this car is very good with nice fitting panels that open and close well. Paintwork is fairly nice and glossy. The car's brightwork is in great condition except for some slight damage to the hardtop finisher on the RH side, an easy repair. Glasswork appears all nice and in good shape all around.The car's interior is 100% original with comfortable and supportive seats. It's in very good general condition overall but is showing some signs of age/wear to the passenger seat pleats. The original top dash pad has a few cracks that can be rectified. The wood is good overall although it's showing some age on the center console. The black soft top is really excellent, having been a newer addition to the car, recently fitted.Mechanically, the car is very strong. The engine starts easily on the key with no smoke, noises, and very good oil pressure. It pulls very well through it's nice shifting transmission. Brakes, suspension, and steering all seem fine and up to the mark.Overall, a very attractive 560 SL in a rare color scheme fitted with the desirable chrome, this car is ready to be enjoyed and is well priced.
