1989 Mercedes 560SL 2 Door Convertible with Factory Hard Top
Description
up for sale a BEAUTIFUL 1989 MERCEDES BENZ 560sl two door convertible.
1989 was the last year this car was produced. VIN WDBBA48D3KA093645.
My German's friends call this car, "Panzerkampfwagen" or translated to
the Armored Tank, because it built strong as an Army Tank. I’m told,
Mercedes doesn’t build quality cars like this anymore. In the picture
the car looks black but, it more of a dark charcoal up close. The
transmission is automatic, (I’ve never seen one in a manual). The car
has the 560SL V8 aluminum engine. The car plenty of power and will
simply fly down the road when you step on the gas, handles like a
dream, is a real pleasure to drive and is a real luxury ride. The car
is very dependable. I would have no concerns about jumping in this car
and taking it on a trip for thousands of miles. The car’s body is rust
free and in excellent condition especially for a 27 year old car. The
black leather interior is in great original condition, No crack or
splits. The car comes with a original Mercedes Hard top and a new
convertible top underneath. I’m the car’s third owner. The car has no
accident damage. The car has been painted once, with a very high
quality paint job. This car is located in Timberville VA and can been
seen and driven by appointment. The car has a current Virginia
registration and recently passed Virginia inspection. The NADA retail
value is between $14 - $65k.

What are known issues with this car? The power Antenna no longer goes
up. The AC is no longer cold, probably just needs recharging. The
Odometer stopped working since I’ve had it at 119K miles. I’ve driven
it less than 1000 miles per years in the past four years. One of the
engine’s vales has a minor pecking on the right side, and needs
adjusting. I'm probably under selling the car but I want to be
completely up front in describing everything I know about this car.
You won’t be disappointed with this car. Why am I selling this car? I
simply just don’t drive it enough to justify keeping it. The car is
being sold AS IS, and where IS. There is a $500 deposit within 24 hrs
of the sale, and payment in full within 10 business days. Do not bid
if you are not a serious buyer. I can be reached at 540-241-0083 Bart May. Good luck in
Bidding.
