Description

This car belonged to my father since 1976. The restoration never became reality. It sat in the barn ever since. Now, after his passing, it is in my Mother’s name, it has current registration, and she is ready to sell. I am selling it on eBay for her. It will need total, frame off restoration. It does not run. The odometer reads 15,000 miles, but I am sure it has rolled over. I am selling it in “as is” condition. It does have new tires and my husband had the rims powder coated in red. It was a job just to get it rolling again. We vacuumed it out and washed it to some extent. We have many extra parts. The seats were recovered many years ago and are in beautiful condition. I have located most of the extra parts and took pictures of them all. My mother lives in Fortson, Ga 31808. I will not ship this car unless it is agreed on before the purchase is complete. It is for local pickup only! If paid by check, the money must clear in the bank before the car is taken.
With some hard work, this car will bring around $200,000 after it is restored.Good luck & happy bidding!
I have had so much interest in my auction! Every person that has contacted me so far is very nice and all seem genuinely ready to buy the car right now. I did not put a “buy it now” option on the car for a reason. I would like to see the auction run to it’s 7 day end and see what happens. Regardless, it will only cost me, the seller, a set final value fee of $125, so I feel like ending this auction early could be a costly decision and I would always wonder what could have been. I am happy to answer any questions pertaining to this car. There is no deposit required on this car. We want the buyer be 100% satisfied with the purchase and have no fear of losing a deposit. You can make your final decision upon seeing the vehicle in person. If you decide you do not want the car, it will be offered to the next highest bidder with no hard feelings. So, please, just bid on the car if you would like to buy it.
