Rare opportunity to own a rare vehicle in the US market. The utilitarian version of the Mercedes G-Wagon known for its off-road prowess which is largely attributed to its differential locking system.
This truck is very fun to drive, it is not fast but that is not the point. The diesel motor (widely regarded as one of the best engines ever produced) sounds like a small tractor.
There are a few rust spots on the body but overall the vehicle is in great shape inside and out. I have owned it for three years and it has never seen a winter (it was in Europe before that).
Note this is a 1986. I had to put 1980 in the check box because the E-Bay does not recognize the European VIN because it has one less digit than the US Standard. This vehicle is currently registered in NY without any issue - proof of Title and the ability to Register can be provided prior to purchase.
