Up for sale is a 1979 Mercedes Benz 300CD 5-cyl diesel coupe.
VERY RARE COLOR COMBO. Medium red with bamboo interior.
41,638 ORIGINAL MILES.
This is a one owner car that has been garage kept and it shows.
I see no evidence of any bodywork, the car is straight and appears to be 100% original.

A/c is not working, however the saleincludes a brand new AC compressor still in the box, a spare seat bottom a full set of manuals and the original NY state license plates that read “BENZ CD”
Driver side window goes halfway down and no further, it comes up fine. All other windows along with the skylight function as they should.Original antenna functions as it should.Vehicle is equipped with a secondary rancor fuel filter which was installed at the time of delivery.It will need a set of tires strictly due to their age.
Oil/filter all fuel filters changed within the past month.
Please look closely at the photos. They give you a good representation of the vehicle.It is almost a 40 year old car there are a few imperfections like a small scratch and ding on the hood (visible) some surface rust near battery due to a leaky battery which has been replaced with a new exide AGM battery.
Overall this is one of the nicest w123’s I have ever seen, with some minor love it will surely make its new owner very happy...
