Classic Mercedes Benz 380 SL Convertible

2nd owner vehicle. Purchased from original owner in June, 2005, with 122,634 miles showing. As of February, 2016, the odometer showed 143,149 miles, when the odometer stopped working (which has been known to happen on this particular model). This car has been maintained by the same mechanic, since 2006, and a mechanic's sheet is available, upon request. The car runs beautifully and is mechanically sound. New front brakes and New rear tires have been recently added. The Palomino Leather seats are in Excellent condition and have been covered in sheepskin. The following issues will need to be addressed by the buyer: The paint on the rear trunk has oxidized and will need to be redone (photo #3). The convertible top will need to be replaced, as it leaks in heavy rain (photos #8 and #9). (A new top can be purchased for approximately $475.00 at Amazon.) There is no hard top. Cosmetically, the car will need new hubcaps. Please note that none of the aforementioned issues prevent the car's drive-ability. This particular model is starting to become quite collectible, but can still be used as a daily driver. The car is located in San Francisco, CA.
