1982 Mercedes 300TD turbo diesel wagon leather and 3rd seat black/Palomino

Today i am selling my 1982 Mercedes 300TD station wagon. It was finished in black (MB color code 040) with Palomino color leather interior.( MB option code 274) This gorgeous 300TD came with the rare factory option of a third row of seats. It has a rear facing pair of seats with seatbelts in the rear cargo area. If you do have kid, they will always fight about who may sit in the back. This car can transport 7 people legally and in style.Over the last year it has been gone through mechanically and cosmetically. There are no dings, dents or scratches and the paint shines like on a much newer car. There is no rust !! This car really stands out and gets a lot of thumbs up driving down the street.The chrome is in great condition all around and is a wonderful contrast to the jet black paint. The interior is in good condition as wel, as the many pictures will show. The carpets are clean, the wood is like new and the headliner is in great condition as well. The seats are in good shape with soft leather and just minor wear showing. This car has plenty of power from the start and the transmission shifts smooth. I would not hesitate to drive it to the east coast at a moments notice. I could not think of anything else it needs. Even the air conditioning blows nice and cold.This car has been well maintained and there is no reason that it should not go another 400k miles with proper maintenance.I would prefer to sell this 300TD locally to somebody who could come by and see it . But i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up (LAX) for any out of town winning bidders.Please have your funding in order and do all your "due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid.
