1964 Mercedes W112 300SE Coupe.
This ultra rare and highly sought after project is very well positioned for a full restoration.
These W112 cars do not become available very often due to their scarcity and extreemly low production such was their exclusivity at their period of manufacture which in turn has made then highly sought after today.
The W112 model was positioned by Mercedes as their "Flagship" model to succeed the 300SL Gullwing and Roadster and as such has mechanical attributes carried from that of the 300SL.
Such was their exclusivity, that a seperate showroom was arranged for their viewing to the discerning and affluent clientelle.
This Discerning and affluent clientelle sought Cabriolets and Coupes to present themselves to society in a moderate yet private fashion.
