Mercedes “Baby Benz” 190D
Description
This was my daily driver up to about a year ago. Switched back to gasoline as diesel stations are limited around here. Car runs good and I know of nothing needed for road worthiness. Paint is oxidized and I would have the few minor surface rust area fixed and repainted were I keeping it. It’s a perfect example of a car for restoration. Over the years I’ve picked up a few extra parts for the 190D series when I came across them/ This car was a very limited number imported to the US. I have an extra transmission, rear end, wiper assembly, & original headlight assemblies for this car that goes with it. Their condition is unknown as they were from other cars that had been dismantled. Interior is in fair, if not considered good condition. The drivers seat has a worn through area common to this vechile and the door panels near the glass need stretched and glued. Body has a few small surface rust areas that I have tried to show in the pictures. Only damage I was told from previous owner was the passenger was damaged in a parking garage and was repaired or replaced. I replaced the headlight assemblies with costly new ones for greater light
