This is the R107 body that was built from 1971-1989, a very long run from Mercedes. 3.8 liter V8 runs smooth like new. AC works as well.
Incredible condition inside and out. 69,893 miles. Blue with blue/gray interior. Hard Top is included.
Purchased in 1999 and was kept as pristine as possible with service and detailing. Always stored in a climate controlled garage.
In the 20 year ownership about 28,000 miles were put on the Mercedes. Purchased from a local Mercedes dealer in 99 from the 2nd owner. Majorityof repairs and service were performed at the local Mercedes Benz dealer its entire life. There is far more into this car then what it will take to buy it.
Here is a list of the main things done to it in the last few years:
November 2017 New Top and weatherstripping. $1,200
September 2017 $3,000 in service. New Brakes, caliper, brake lines, hoses, bushings, new exhaust, fuel tank hoses.
2017 the AC was fully services for $600.
May of 2016 Water pump and thermostat, battery. $750
April 2012 valve cover gasket, belts, sealing ring. $2,300
Also in 2012 the Timing chain and tensioner were replaced. That is the major thing that goes wrong with these cars.
The car is currently being stored at Golz motors in Deerfield, IL. This is a private party sale with a clean title in hand. .
