1989 Mercedes 560SL Roadster

I purchased this vehicle in May 2003 and I am the third owner.
The first owner bought it in Hawaii. The second owner lived in Nashville and drove it to Florida each year for the winter.
This car is in beautiful shape and has always been garage kept. It has never been wrecked or smoked in. It has been carefully driven and well cared for.
It has some small nicks in the paint (see pictures) from normal road use as well as a previous owners clumsy handling of the hardtop (it's a little heavy and if you are not careful you can hit the paint when installing/uninstalling. I recommend covering the trunk with a blanket etc. beforehand).
The second owner reported that the left front fender was dented in a parking lot and rather than repair the dent he had the entire fender replaced with a factory matched fender.
The wheels are upgrade Centra wheels with gold star centers but some of them have pitting/corrosion/separated spots on the chrome of the wheels and the wheel inserts (see pictures)
There are no cracks/splits in the dashboard.
Things I have replaced/repaired/upgraded while I owned the car:
- replaced all hoses and belts- replaced both fuel pumps- upgraded the AC to modern freon- replaced the transmission in 2012- had the radio/cassette player rebuilt by Becker Auto Sound in Saddle Brook, NJ (www.beckerautosound.com)- replaced engine hood pad- new tires (this year)- replaced other minor trim etc. pieces inside and out
Comes with the matching removable hardtop and retractable soft top. The second owner replaced the soft top so it is not original but it is in good used shape.
