CLASSIC 1968 MB 280SE

Description

Classic Mercedes in good condition. Mechanically very sound and a great daily driver. Body in good shape with some minor imperfections. Interior needs attention ( drivers seat, some of the rubber moulding and wood trim). New owner needs to complete conversion of windows from electric to manual (started but haven't had time to finish so only driver window is functional). Rust in the trunk well area but overall, the car is solid. Tires good, new belts,bushings, exhaust and suspension system with lots of tender care for all details since purchasing this car 9 years ago ( have all receipts and paperwork on completed upgrades and maintenance). A very solid daily driver with the engine being in great condition. Fast acceleration in the city and highway. Quite,smooth and still lots of power. Odometer says 82,000 but its anyone's guess as to what it really could be. Clear title, garage kept. Hate to part with this reliable classic but it's time to move on to the next project (my '93 600).Not desperate to sell (which is why I'm firm on the price) but hoping this whoever gets to call this car their own will give it a good home and will be more than satisfied with this German example of high standard quality engineering!
