1962 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEb coupe, chassis 111 021. Original southwestern auto sold new in NM(?). Original mileage of 86,500. Column automatic, correct, period AC, (working, evaporator and blowers in trunk), upgraded Blaupunkt stereo, Mercedes side moldings (both appx. late 1960's, moldings maybe 300SE), tinted windows. Matching numbers with Mercedes certificate, MB card file, MB service booklet (missing pages), and factory shop manual. Same owner last 21 years. Was daily driver. Has some undercarriage surface rust, loss of undercoating, but absolutely no rust-through, holes, soft spots or chassis rot on floor boards, rocker panels, trunk, etc. Rocker panel rock guards removed for inspection. Only very small bubbling on the lower RF fender, small cracks on LR quarter near rear wheel molding indicates dent repair. Includes original jack, spare tire and lug wrench, misc small parts. Running, starts right up, sounds okay, moveable, all mechanically functional, always garaged, but needs head gasket replaced. Did not overheat, died driving, towed home. Coolant in oil. Radiator and block drained, oil pan/crankcase immediately flushed with fresh oil (within a couple of hours) and then filled with fresh oil/filter, Mobil 1 20W-50 synthetic.
