Description

Up for sale is this beautiful 1985 300cdt. Only 1270 were made/imported that year to the U.S. And the last year this luxury coupe was made. The black exterior is flawless as is the palomino leather interior. Not to knock the tex-mex in the other 123's but what a fabulous car!The car has 154,000 plus miles due to daily driving.I'm only the third owner that I'm aware of. The car came to Folly Beach, SC in May of 2014 via California. The car was given an exceptional paint job, new rubber with $11,000 plus in repairs and in restoration work the guy was going to totally redo it and he also had a 1985 300tdt wagon what a pearl. Anywho, I bought both of them from him already owning 2 manual 240D and a 1985 300td sedan. Now all of a sudden I have four then another 300td pops up along with a 1983 300SD this Christmas plus I acquired another 240 D automatic summer of 2015. I had bought the wagon and coupe off of Folly Beach in August 2014 and they had both been California cars until their move to the East coast May 2014.Anyway, like I said, this coupe is turn key including new Firestone Affinity tires. The only issue is the sunroof doesn't work. No tears or cracks in upholstery or console or dash. The rubber, chrome and glass are all in outstanding condition. Air conditioner cools like a dream. All windows work. The previous owner had at least $20,000 in this car. I have plenty of documentation of service and repairs and restoration done on this legend. This car is such a pleasure to drive. I hate to sell it but as mentioned above, my collection has grown and I've chosen to let this one go so it can be driven and enjoyed like it deserves. The new owner of this car will not regret purchasing it. It is amazing to look at and drive. Please contact me with any questions at 336-325-7933Happy bidding!!!!!John
