Description

This is a solid rust free California classic transplanted in CT about 2yrs ago and hasn't been driven in snow in the last 2yrs. This is a Good running solid collector car. Drive this anywhere. Smooth engine, cushy ride. Mercedes got their Flagship W126 chassis dialed in right! A true classic, built to last!
This example has extremely Nice leather interior, decent original paint. Could use a good buff. Engine runs extremely well. Starts up smooth, transmission shifts smooth and crisp. Windows work, memory, power seats work. Sunroof works, heat works. A/c worked, (now needs a charge as I had to replace the condenser.) All cigarette lighters work, ashtrays are clean, never smoked in. The infamous vacuum lock systems all work perfectly. Factory MB alarm works great!
While I've had the car I upgraded it to highly desired Bosch E Code glass headlights with the European parking indicators and daytime park running low beam lamps. I've installed new front grill, replaced the hood. Just replace the infamous light control relays. So all interior, dash and vantity lights work as they should. Overall this is a very nice original example.
Hood needs to be painted, I had to replace it as the original hood got damaged. I can get it painted for $400.00 if you want and get the car completely buffed at the same time. Also, Car has a slight exhaust leak between muffler and resonator. If the car meets reserved I will get that fixed as well.
Original manuals and original MB USA finance Map included. Original MB audio tapes, never opened included. Original radio (although no longer working) still in car. Never hacked with aftermarket radio. Original tool kit. 2 original MB keys and 1 valet key all included.
Overall good this is solid original car. I'd happily cruise down the highway is this 80's Mercedes, anywhere. However, I must sell this car. I just don't have time for it anymore. I've enjoy this car tremendously and all I can is hope that it goes to a good home to someone who keeps this car preserved.
Car will be sold with clean title signed over to new buyer.
Remember, you are buying an older car, excpect paint blimishes, door dings etc. you are buying this car as-is, not warranty implied or expressed.
