1961 Mercury Comet 4 door Sedan

This listing is for my 1961 Mercury Comet 4-door Sedan. It is red with a red and white vinyl interior. It currently has approximately 63,000 miles. I originally purchased this car about 5 years ago with the intention of restoring it. However, I have since started a restoration on my 1966 Tbird convertible and don't see me being able to start on this car for at least 5 years, if at all. This car will start, as it was driven where it is currently parked in my driveway. I would recommend it being towed as the tires are at least 10 years old, so I would not trust them on the highway and the carburetor needs rebuilding. I am hoping that someone will get this restored to its glorious looks as it once was. I have already redone the interior door panels, and they are not on the car, but will be given to the new buyer. I have also purchased other parts for the car, which I will give to the buyer. I will expect a $500 non-refundable deposit paid within 48 hours of end of listing and will work with buyer for picking up the car. Good luck and thank you for looking.
