This is a driver quality Park Lane. The paint is good with only few small blemishes. This was the top-of-the-line model for Mercury in 1966. It has power windows, steering, brakes, convertible top. Almost everything is original and it works. It has the very desirable 428ci 345hp Super Marauder with 4 barrel carb and C6 transmission, posi rear end . The car is big and fast and sounds nice and mellow with the new dual exhaust with Cherry Bombs mufflers. It is not perfect, not a trailer queen, but a nice cruiser that attracts attention and it is quite rare and unique (2,500 built in 1966). The only thing modern is the radio, but it does have a retro look and it fits nicely with the other gauges in the dash. Milage is correct (83k) but it goes up as I drive it almost every weekend.
Recent work done: New shocks on all corners, new starter, ignition relay, spark plugs, new driveshaft, alignment and wheel balance, new belts and fluid changes.
The car is not perfect, it does have some pitting on the chrome door handles and mirror, it needs a parking brake cable, couple more small things.
