This is an unbelievable 1957 Mercury Monterey M-335. This car hasgreat history, photos, and documentation. The M-335 was originallybuilt to meet the NASCARrequirements of 100 production vehicles tobe NASCARlegal. Ford contracted Bill Stroppe of Long Beach, Ca. tobuild 100Lincoln 368 cu. in. engines with 335 hp for the 2 door Mercury's. Aftermeetingthe requirements the engine wasoutlawed, but not beforeTim Flockand the Meyers Brothers posted wins.
This actual vehicle was owned and restored by NASCAR legendDon Miller former President of Penske Racing. The restoration tookplace over 3 years at Miller Racing Shop in N.C.
