I'm selling a collectors car. My dad recently passed away and he loved collecting old cars and my mother has ask me to assist her in selling this vehicle and a Handicap Van that I will be listing in the next few daysso please check my other auctions.
This car is a1994 Mercury Capri Convertible with the addition of the hard top which is included in this auction. This car starts easily and runs great. The top is easy to operate and stores away easily. The hard top is white and is hanging in the garage wrapped in blankets and I have no idea on how to install it. This car is a 4-Cylinder w/automatic transmission. The body has a few small dings and scratches on it but for a car that's 23 years old it's in great shape. It has an aftermarket Pioneer radio in it model DEH150MP complete with MP3 jack and cd payer. See complete add for the additional features.
The only things I know that is wrong with the car is as follows; The rubber stopper for the gas cap is missing when the door is closed (I will see about replacing it tomorrow). The plastic clip that holds the hood rod in place when the hood is being closed is broke (I will see about replacing it tomorrow). The (2) storage pockets on the doors are broke at the upper screws. The pockets are on the bottom of both doorsand solid but the top 2 screws are broke on each pocket. Theywould be easy to replace when new ones are purchased.Head lights work great (up/down), heater works, after market radio, A/C (clutch on pump works but no cold air), carpet and seats are in great shape. One broken screw on the deck lid in the middle for the convertible top storage compartment. Isuspect this is one of the screws for the hard top mounting. I believe these are all minor.
NOTE; THE CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AT THE BUY IT NOW PRICE. IF IT SELLS LOCALLY THE ADD WILL BE REMOVED.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Vehicle doesn't leave the premises until all funds have cleared.
On Jul-23-17 at 08:05:52 PDT, seller added the following information:I charged the A/C this morning (7/23)as it was empty after years of setting in the garage. It took the charge and is pumping out cold air and I will try it again in a few days to make sure it maintained the charge. Thank you for your interest.
