Here is the coolest Comet you have ever seen. This 1968 Mercury Comet with 65,000 actual miles is something that you don't see often. Most recognizable would be the 70's and 80' style with them being of the smaller variety but this one is a full size, hardtop beauty. a 289ci engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission, this will get you there in great fashion as the pairing runs flawlessly. Turn the key and go. We have the Marti Report in hand and of course comes with the car. A couple of interesting findings on the report caught our eyes. The color of the car which is Onyx (Black) on top of Glacier Blue was one of only 12 with these paint codes and one of only 11 with these paint and trim codes. If you do the math, it might be one of a few or one of one left on earth with the fore mentioned criteria. ????You really have to see this car in person if you can. The big bodied Comet is so similar to the other more well known Mopar's, Pontiac's and bigger Chevy's of that same year. the ralley wheels on the Comet go perfect with the car as well as the brand, spankin' new muffler system that makes it sound like a real representative of that time.
