I bought this car in February 2015 from a lady in Texas and paid $7500.00 for it. It has been mostly restored to original condition. The day I bought is I drove is from Texas to Florida with no problems. This is the nicest Capri I have ever seen. I have owned two others. It drives and handles very nicely. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country.
It also has a hard top. AM-FM CD player, Rear defrost in hard top, power mirrors, power door locks, and fog lamps.
Improvements made before I bought it:
Very nice candy apple red paint. Only some very small blemishes which will not show in pictures. The engine has been rebuilt. Black leather and vinyl seats with red piping. New convertible top. I have some receipts for the above work from the previous owner.)
Things I have done:
Four new tires, new fog lights, new shifter bushings, front brake pads, complete exhaust system including muffler and converter, new wiper motor.
The bad:
The cruise control does not work. I have not had it checked. The passenger window switch does not work. It can be controlled with the driver's switch. The headliner in the hard top hangs down. Since I live in Florida I have not had the hard topon. The brake light indicator stays on. The mechanic said the brakes are fine it is just a switch in the master cylinder is not working properly. Sometimesthe oil pressure indicator is erratic. My mechanic has checked the oil pressure and it is fine.
