Description

We purchased this car in 1970 in Pomona, California and it was a rust free L.A. car. It was restored in 2011 after 41 years of inside storage.
The original flathead V-8 engine and 3 speed OD transmission were rebuilt as well the brakes, exhaust, etc. This car is smooth and quiet as original. The car was painted two stage in original '50 Mercury color Royal bronze maroon. The interior is three pinstripe brown cloth as original.
All glass except rear window replaced with date coded clear glass. All chrome and stainless rechromed or polished. The car is still original 6 volt with an electric fuel pump. One of only a few unaltered '50 Merc coupes left.
