1971 Mercury Montego Wood Brothers tribute car. Engine is a 540cj. Block is 460 SVO, 4 bolt mains with screw in freeze plugs. Has aluminum heads with Crower roller rockers. Has 460 Dominator intake with a Holley Dominator carb. Dry sump oiling system. Engine was fresh prior to its last race. Car was raced on a road course in Nebraska in the 120 mph average class. The car had a top speed of 180 mph and cruised nicely at 150 mph. The engine was fresh prior to its last race. The car's last race was literally its last race. It was involved in a roll over crash. The rocker panels are about all that is not damaged on the body. The cock pit cage appears in good condition. The car is rolling but is not driving. The motor runs great. The car has a Jerrico Transmission but the overdrive housing is cracked. It also has a 3.25 N case rear. Please watch the 10 minute video for full details. If someone wants to fix this car I have a replacement roof, hood, trunk, doors, fenders and bumpers that I will include in the sale. The wheels are nice and the tires are new.Comes with the extra parts shown in the pictures. I included a picture of the cam specs. Also of a picture prior to the crash.
