1988 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Colony Park Station Wagon
Description
NO RESERVE LISTING!!!
Selling one very nice 1988 Grand Marquis LS Colony Park station wagon. This car is absolutely in excellent condition. No rust. Local Georgia car. The original navy blue leather interior has zero rips or tears, and only light wear, as expected. While there are a few slight imperfections in the paint(a small scratch here and there, as well as a few edges were someone got a little heavy handed with a buffer?), the quality of the paint job looks outstanding. There is one noticeable scratch on the tailgate(see last photo). I would not be surprised if this car still wears the original paint, in the factory color, Medium Shadow Blue Metallic. Though I'm not 100% positive. I see no evidence of any over spray...anywhere. While perhaps not show quality, it is still in outstanding condition. I've never seen a cleaner 88. Even the luggage rack, lower aluminum body trim and wheel well trim shows little to no wear! The Hankook white wall tires are like new. The 5.0L engine runs out excellent, and has been equipped with headers, and true dual exhaust, including catalytic converters and resonators. Sounds awesome. New battery last month. This is a MUST SEE!! I have a clear GA title in my name. I also have copy of original Georgia title, when vehicle was purchased new, by the original owner, with only 2 miles on it.
I have 100% positive feedback, and would like to keep it. Please ask any and ALL questions before bidding.
Vehicle is sold AS-IS, with no implied warranty.
Requires $500 PayPay deposit within 24 hours. Full payment within 3 businessdays. Prefer wire transfer or cash payment. Any other form of payment will need to be agreed upon, and will require a 14-day hold to clear my bank, before releasing vehicle. Period. I would like vehicle picked up within 7 days of full payment, but will work with buyer as best I can. I'm looking to free up some garage space.
As with any 30+ year old car, there are things that will need attention:
The brakes stop great, though the brake light does stays lit.Drivers side window motor spins, but does not engage. Glass could be off track?AC could use some freon? Does not blow cold.
