1969 MERCURY COUGAR ELIMINATOR TRIBUTE

Description

Beautiful 1969 Mercury Cougar that has been updated with a eliminator package but IS A RECREATION. 351 windsor motor with Holly 650 carb,standard brakes, power steering, Factory AC,upgraded deluxe interior and dash instrument panel, styled steel wheels,New bf goodrich radials, New heavy duty suspension. Originally invoiced as a Base model with Sport Package.. The paint is original color and is smooth and glassy, the brightwork is all beautiful, the interior is gorgeous and it is in perfect working order. The engine is original matching #., The Transmission was rebuilt 2 yrs ago and has about 500 miles of use.. The rear end is stock and currently has the factory open 3.00 gear in it. The exhaust is dual 2 1/4 inch flowmaster supper 44 mufflers.Most of the car has all new parts. Only drivin to local shows 96330 original miles
All of the interior is beautiful including the dash,seats,headliner. and door panels. . As mentioned previously the car looks beautiful, is very mechanically sound and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across the country.. There are several negative things that I will mention. There are some paint chips and touched up scratches .The headlights work very well but do loose vacuum over time when parked. The instrumentation works but and the clock is non functional at this time.AC is disconnected but compressor works.There may be some others not worth mentioning
