Description

This is a 1969 Mercury Cyclone that was ordered as a company Lease Plan vehicle for a Ford executive to drive a few years & then be sold. It was ordered with a 351W 2 barrel carb, FMX auto transmission, bucket seats, floor shift w/console, Rim blow steering wheel, Power windows, P/disc, P/steering, A/C, Intermittent wipers, AM/FM radio & dash clock (both missing) a complete listing is included with the Marti report in the last picture. This is one of 84 painted Competition Orange & the only one of those to have power windows! The car has been in storage since the fall of 1978 and will need to be restored. It had some bad body work done to it and they used a lot of putty to do dent repair BUT this car is worth fixing for sure! All I have done to it is put on new tires and do mild cleaning. I haven't had the time to work on it at all.....The interior is really nice shape for 50 years old! The engine seems to be froze but I haven't tried to free it up at all. The transmission is out of the car but included with it. The rear lower quarter panels will need attention (I have repair panels & wheel lips for a additional price) It has new tires and great looking factory chrome rims on it now, I have also found a replacement hood w/scoop to go with the car along (the orange hood is shot) with a drivers side quarter panel extension. Rear sub frame & front sub frame seem to be in decent shape, please see pictures. The front floors have some small holes in front of the seats and the trunk lid is banged up a bit, AMD is making new floor pans and new deck lids are coming next year. There is no radiator but I have a clean title in hand. Please look over the pictures and ask any questions that you can think of....I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks for looking at this auction!
