Up for auction is a super rare 1980 Mercury Cougar XR7 with just under 42,000 miles. This car belonged to an elderly woman and was stored in a garage for many years. the car was recently towed out of the garag, gas drained out and new fuel, fuel pump and fuel line, new tires, oil change and some belts and hoses and the 5 liter v8 starts right up and runs very smooth, the A/C still turns right on and gets cool but not col, compressor engages and makes no noise and you can feel the lines get cold . The exterior of the car is very nic, the two tone black/ silver paint is free of cracks or damage, vinyl roof is still soft and looks great, this car is rust free . Interior is very nice, carpet is like new seats show very little wear.I have all papers when the car was purchased new including the window sticker.
