Description

Didn't get that special project you wanted for Christmas? Maybe something cosmetically clean with a decent interior, and a complete and original engine and transmission that don't currently run just waiting for you to apply your mechanical expertise? Well, my friend, your prayers have been answered!
What we have here is a complete, numbers-matching 1965 Mercury Marauder with a straight body, all chrome intact, and a relatively pristine interior for something nearly 55 years old. The only fix the interior requires is to re-install the correct carpeting to replace the shag(yes, shag) carpeting that was laid in its place. Other than that the bucket seats are in great shape, as is the center console with its T-handle floor shifter and console-mounted tachometer. Door panels are solid and all glass is good. Doors open and close with no hinge sag.
In the trunk is a second complete 3-piece grille, and enough hubcaps to have 2 full sets. Car also comes with its original yellow-on-black California license plates. Originally purchased at Frank Andrews Lincoln-Mercury in Roseville, CA, it's remained a California car its entire existence and currently resides in Rescue, CA. And a California buyer will appreciate that this Marauder doesn't require smog certification!
This is a no-reserve auction. Winning bidder or Buy-it-Now purchaser must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close, with the remainder to be paid upon pick-up. Pick-up and shipping remains the responsibility of the buyer.
Questions? Please ask. Thank you for looking and good luck!

Update 12/25: Just confirmed that, despite no pic, the dash is not cracked. Reminder: The car does not currently run. That's the fun part of your project.
