Description

The 50th year of the Walking Cat is coming and now is the time to get yours! This cat is nearly mint. The color is the original Black Onyx and the interior is all original complete with "XR7" logo floormats. The chrome is in good condition and everything works on this car except the center clock but again, this is nearly 50 years old. The car had the top half of the engine rebuilt with Edelbrock parts and we came across a spare 289 engine that will be included if you'd like with the car. Car runs and drives fine, is all numbers matching, and really turns heads. You are responsible for pick up or shipping but new owner should note the paint is excellent so closed cab transport would be recommended.Reason for selling?? This car was bought by me a few years ago from a seller's private collection out of NH. We are classic car people and have "His and Hers" cars. However, as I've gotten older I rarely drive the car.-I'm the "her". I've listed it for sale more than once with people mainly being silly about the sale: please do not ask me to pay your airfare here, do not ask me to guarantee the car to drive cross country as it is CLASSIC, don't pick it apart if it has something you don't like. Would the car make it cross country? Probably but anything can happen. This Cougar is all original-from the black S-plate to the woodgrain dash with all black gauges and the shifter. What you see is what you get and as I bought it minus engine the engine work as my husband chromed it out. This car is a show car and has been out to car shows and cruises only. It is garaged in a storage area and well kept. Email with any question. NADA average $24k and High retail $46k-car is worth the price I'm asking as it is a head turner and it had duel flow masters so you can hear the roar of it coming.
