LAST TIME OFFERED BEFORE THE CAR WILL BE PAINTED and UPHOLSTERED.BUY NOW so you can choose the paint and interior colors you want. 1952 Mercury Monterey Convertible. Originally a Georgia car. Since Spring 2016 the following has been done-NEW Radiator,NEW Fuel Pump,NEW Fuel Line,NEW Gas Tank,ALL NEW Brakes (steel and flex lines,wheel cylinders,shoes & master cylinder),NEW Exhaust Pipe,NEW Muffler,NEW Tail Pipe,NEW Tires and last week a NEW Convertible Top (with new tacking strips and new pads). Converted to 12 Volt with a NEW Battery,NEW Neutral Safety Switch,NEW Alternator,NEW Horns,NEW Horn Relay and all NEW Bulbs,etc.. As I bought the car,it has a 1957 Ford 292 V-8 which is driveable but the carburetor needs to be rebuilt since it does not idle very well due to running too rich.The Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission shifts fine. All the lights work (including the Fog Lights). A solid car with two patches in the floor which were done many,many years ago.Solid trunk floor with some minor pin holes. Solid body,doors,hood,trunk lid,etc. (the Coronado Kit on the trunk lid I want to keep). The rear seat springs are mint and have been cleaned and painted (pictured).They are ready to upholster.The rear metal panels on the left and right of the rear seat are very good and ready to upholster. The snap moldings,side trim and stone shields are not installed yet. Clean title.
