Description

For sale, a 1991 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon. This car runs strong and drives great. The engine is a Ford 5.0 L (302 cu. in.). It has power windows, power locks, power seats, and cruise control. All of these features work, although a couple of the solenoids for the power locks could stand to be replaced. The ac works and blows cold.

The car has been well maintained and I have replaced parts as necessary over the years. Notably, I installed a new transmission and torque converter from Monster Transmission in 2012. The transmission and torque converter have around 20,000 miles on them. I also installed a new exhaust system and an Optima Yellow Top battery, and I had the AC system recharged around the same time. In 2013, I installed new tires all around and put about 14,000 miles on them.

Although I put a lot of money into the car in 2012 and 2013, I wound up buying a new car in late 2014. So the Colony Park has been parked ever since with the exception of occasional drives around the block to keep the battery charged.

The odometer on the car reads 156,480 miles. But it is a few thousand miles off, as I installed a 140 mph police interceptor speedometer on the car and did not move the original odometer over when I made the swap.A vehicle history report will track the mileage on the car over the years, and show that 156,480 is not too far off its actual mileage.

The car has factory undercoating. The paint is in good shape for a 25-year-old car, but the clear coating is fading in some areas.Similarly, the wood paneling on the driver’s side has faded.

Overall, the car is in great shape.Videos are available on Youtube athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4W6Zvsf0_c&feature=em-share_video_userandhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_rIGHRRcCI&feature=em-share_video_user.
