This is a very nice original 1974 ½ MGBGT that was just brought out of dry storage after 25 years. I have just completed all the work required to bring this beauty back to life. Just replaced were the following: brake master, clutch master, clutch slave, rear wheel cylinders, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, all flex lines – basically all the hydraulics were gone over. The carburetors have been removed and completely gone through. The gas tank and fuel lines are brand new. The ignition system has been renewed. The oil and filter are new using Valvoline VR 1 20W – 50W racing oil (with zink). The 185/70 x 14 tires are brand new. This nice BGT has a nice stainless steel exhaust system, including a new downpipe with donut gaskets. The original black interior is in excellent condition. This MGBGT has NO rust. This is a very very solid car. I see no rust anywhere. The “burnt orange” paint has had a resprayed at one time. There are 3 very small dings in the left front fender – nothing the paintless dent wizard can’t remove. This is the last year that the BGT’s were imported and very few were brought into the USA. It has some original literature with it, including the original owner’s manual and the “Passport to Service” record for the original owner in 1975. It also has a working AM/FM vintage radio. Also has original jack and jack bag.The original mileage is 57787. This car starts runs great and can be driven home. I have a clear Maryland title in my name.
