Description

1956 MGA roadster, with 1966-7 MGB engine (# 18GB-U-H 53714). This car has been inspected and driven regularly but lightly (< 100 mi/year) every year over the last 15 years.The odometer reads 32,2xx miles, but is probably inaccurate. The car runs and drives well. The top is good, the floors are good. There is a tonneau cover as well.

Known issues: the speedo head needs to be rebuilt--it reads but isn't accurate, and the driver's side dooris slightly out of alignment.

The paint on the front half of the car (from the doors on forward) is slightly faded and not glossy, the back half is glossy. The body hasa few areas of paint blistering. There are scars, scratches and ugly bits as this is a drive not a show car. Personally, if I were to keep it I'd just get a fresh coat of paint and enjoy it.

A previous owner installed an aftermarket wood dashboard, but the original metal dash will come with the car (uninstalled).

These are quotes from the previous owner. I have had the car looked over brakes, fluids and tune up. My six year old who wants to "cruise". So, I have a 1966 Mustang (because it has a back seat) on its way. This is a great driver. I have had fun with it but with it and the new incoming toy that leaves me this 5 cars. My WIFE says "NO!" to that and you know how that goes.

BTW this car also has an old cassette player radio (remember those!) I have a new Sony CD player (not quite as old!) I never installed which I will include. I will also include new interior door panels with the inserts and a box of parts!

There is a top installed and is in good condition. It also has the side curtains for the doors. I have a car cover that will be included.
