For sale is a 1975 MG MGB (4-speed) that I've owned since 2004 when I transported her from Texas. Clean Illinois title in hand. I worked on her a little here and there and she has always been garage kept. In June of 2017, I had professional brake repair completed to include new calipers, new brake shoes (the green "good ones" from G.B. that don't dust up the wheels), flex-steel lines, and new shoes in the rear drums. At the same time, the Master & Clutch cylinders were replaced with new as well as all the fluids. I put her on jack stands and had the Rostyle wheels powder coated and professionally painted. The tires have less than 100 miles on them and the lug nuts & center caps are brand new. The alternator is new and keeps the new battery running strong. A tonneau cover hides a tan rag top and a jack stand are included with the sale, as well as several essential manuals: MGB Driver's Handbook, MGB 1962-1980 Owners Workshop Manual, The Complete Official MGB 1975-1980 Driver's Handbook Workshop Manual, Chillon's MG Repair & Tune-Up Guide, and Tuning S.U. Carburetters. This Weber-Carb conversion MGB runs great and is ready for a new owner.
Although the lights, turn signals, and other safety equipment work well, this car is being sold As-Is and I will not guarantee anything to the buyer other than the car with title and the details above. The car is 42 years old and is not perfect, I took pictures of dents and scratches, I'm not trying to pull anything over on anyone. But, if you're looking for a quality restorable MGB this is it - a fun daily driver that spent most of her time in Texas and an Illinois garage. If you would like to test drive her, please email me through EBay and I will accommodate accordingly. If you want more pictures/videos or have questions, please email me or provide a number that I can call to provide answers. I'm going to miss this LBC, but I plan on buying a boat in the next year and I can only have one toy at a time. Thanks for looking.
