1975 MG Midget 1500 reconditioned

Description

Over 700 hours restoring to nearly new condition.I have either replaced with New or Refurbished the necessary parts to make this car a reliable daily driver.Every nut, bolts and, washer that was removed was either replaced or reconditioned where appropriate.The Fuel Tank was Removed, Cleaned and Fuel Level Sending Unit was Replaced with New. New Brakes all around Including Master Cylinder, New Wheel Cylinders and Parking Brake Cable. New Universal Joints Front and Rear.New Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave Cylinder. Converted Mechanical Fuel Pump to Electric.New Plugs, Wires and Distributor Cap. New AC Delco Starter Motor.Removed all Emissions.Replaced One bbl Side draft Carburetor with 2 bbl Top draft Weber Carb along with Aluminum High air flow low heat design. Replaced Cast Iron Exhaust Manifold with high Flow Header.New Tie Rod Ends, Inner and Outer Wheel Bearings and Seals, Upper Control Arm Bushings.Virtually all Exterior Rubber and Wearables have been Replaced or Reconditioned.The last two pictures were taken in the rebuilding stage.
