We have an very nice 1974 MGB convertible with only 56,375 original miles. We sold this very car 8 years ago and it has returned to our showroom. This car was one of very few that were finished in a deep purple (I believe Aconite) from the factory. I only remember seeing this color in late 1973 or 1974. It is quite rare, and most were repainted to a different color later in their life. This car shows no signs of ever having rust or any accident damage repairs. It has an excellent original chassis and body. It retains all original interior with just some minor wear to driver’s seat. The exterior paintwork is excellent and I believe it has been repainted because it looks to be better than factory applied paint of the period. It has excellent color, nice deep gloss and is very smooth. The car shows very, very nicely paint wise, someone who is a good paint detailer could bring the car to a stunning level. All chrome and glass are very good. This MGB has been well maintained and obviously garaged its entire history. It has received major servicing in our shop that included recent brake and hydraulic work, fluid changes and tuning to be sure it would be ready to go for the next owner. Well maintained MG’s are the most reliable of all the British offerings, and a good chrome bumper car is a joy to drive. This one starts easily, idles well and has excellent power, great brakes, a smooth riding suspension, and a nice shifting transmission. This MGB should is ready to drive for summer fun and should do so reliably for many more miles. Payment - A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due within 48 hours of the auction close and the balance within 7 days of the auctions end. Buyer is responsible for all financing arrangements. All title and paperwork will be completed within 48 hours of receipt of cashiers check or bank wire transfer. Costs associated with express shipment of documents will be responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping - Buyer is to arrange and pay for all shipping costs. We can assist in the coordination of transport pickup. The car is to be picked up within 30 days. Additional storage charges will be made after 30 days.
