Description

1976 MG MGB Mk IV 2dr Roadster 4-cyl. 1798cc/95hp 2x1bbl

VERY GOOD CONDITION 1976 MGB ROADSTER!!

a beautiful car that is fun, fast, quiet and very sharp….a fun, fun car! I purchased this MGB in May of last year. I have “restored” several of these and needed a winter project. This one did not need much!! I drove it most of last summer and fall till it turned cold. It just needed a lot of detailing and some TLC. The engine runs great! Very strong and very quiet. ALL of the electrical works properly…which is a big thing with these cars. It seems to be original in most respects and it really shows that it has been well cared for. In April of 1987 it showed 55,937 miles on the odometer, in May of last year it had about 59,000 and it now has 60,720. I have had several of these and cannot tell you how smooth it rides and drives, better than any I have owned!!

The interior is in EXCELLENT condition….seats, carpet, door panels are all really nice. At some point in its life, the passenger seat was replaced and they put a driver’s side seat in. The only way to tell is that the tilt lever is on the left side instead of the right side. ALL of the gauges are clean, clear, and work properly. The dash is like new….no cracks or holes at all. The engine is well tuned and runs great…it needs nothing! The top is very solid and the windows in it are still clear. There is a factory tonneau cover that is in great shape and comes with the car. It also has the factory convertible boot. The boot has a 2” tear in it but it is not that noticeable nor is it in a stress spot. The trunk is clean and has a spare tire mounted on a rostyle wheel. The tire looks original…old and cracking.

This MGB is the factory ORANGE color. The paint could use some work. It has matted out on the top flat areas but still shines on the sides. There is a little surface rust, but no rust thru or bad areas at all. There are two areas, one on each side just ahead of the rear wheels, where someone improperly tried to jack up the car. Those are the small creased areas you can see in the pictures if you look under the car. I have priced this MGB right, accounting for the flaws in the paint. Be sure to link to Photobucket to view all of the extra photos that would not fit on the Ebay listing.

This MGB is ready for you to take out and have some fun. I can’t stress enough how well it rides and drives AND looks at 10’ out.

IF you have questions or need any particular information or pictures not listed here, CALL or EMAIL me. Please do not assume anything, I want you to be happy with the car, not surprised. It really is super nice and ready to go at a GREAT price!!

This VERY SHARP MGB MK IV ROADSTER falls in the mid range of Good to Excellent Condition and is ready to show or drive.
