Description

1970 MGB Roadster - Red exterior with Black Interior and Wire Wheels with Knock-Offs. Milage is: 88,573. Really nice "Driver Grade" car - Runs and Drives well, has been a very relaible/dependable little sports car. Have owned for the past 4 years and has been a lot of fun. Gets a LOT of attention when I drive it anyplace. Interior is very good, seats have not rips or tears, gauges work, has no radio, tires are good including spare. Engine is good and engine compartment is clean. Has some spots of rust and some paint issues but looks great from 5 feet away! Convertible top is in good shape but could stand to be replaced (but I generally drive it with the top downof course). Just needing a bit of TLC - would be an ideal car to restore or drive and enjoy "as is". Has cleartitle (PA) and classic registration.
* have some extra parts that will go with the car (bumper, trunk, 2 doors, misc).
Ifgeographicallymanageable, you can come check it out in person. Again, this is a nice DRIVER and has blemishes - don't expect a Show Car. A $1,000.00 deposit will be required upon winning bid within 24 hours (otherarrangements may be considered and discussed PRIOR to end of auction with bidder).
Bidders with positive feedback/history only please. Winner will arrange pick-up or shipping and pay those fees. ONLY USA buyers!!!!

***** Car is sold "AS IS" - no warranty. I reserve the right to end auction early. Car is being sold locally, if purchased locally, will end auction.

** Havereceived several calls asking about the "Battery Boxes" - I purchased the car as it is - both boxes were rotted and the previous owner put in the plasticbattery box insert to house the battery. Also, Ireplaced the battery after purchasing the car, so it is about 3 years old. Stored the "B" all winter, charged battery and it fired right up.
*** Again, this is the first MGB I ever owned and am no expert on these cars. It is an old British Sports Car and has some rust underneath and as noted in the photos. I do NOT have a lift to take photos ofundercarraige (sorry). Exhaust system seems okay (not loud), is solid, but may need to be addressed down the road (I am not sure).
**** I do NOT have the original radio - bought the car as is with the MGB plate cover installed over radio slot.

***** Chrome Bumpers are a nice "Driver Grade" - there is some pitting, PLEASE look at close up photos. Again, this is NOT a show car.
