1964 mgb superchaged
Description
I have rebuilt the engine with new 20 over stock low compression pistons, and components but the crank and rods replaced.
The camshaft is a fast road spec.
The head, block/etc are all original from the 3 main engine that came with the car. (Though my engine rebuilder acid dipped the engine plate)
All seals/gaskets were replaced, basically the engine is new, with about 5k on it since rebuild.
I installed the moss supercharger about 5 years ago, the water pump was modified to mount the smaller impeller within the engine block.
Beyond the engine, all rubber brake lines were upgraded to the steel flex lines, rotors/shoes and pads have all been replaced within the last year.
Transmission clutch was replaced with a uprated version, with the master, slave cylinders and hose being replaced within the last year( same time as the brake components)
Tires are also new, with < 500 miles on them.
Paint is a 10 footer, with chips here and there, otherwise it is in good shape. No rust on the body or frame, the car was in California for most of its life (and rebuild).
I replaced the leather seats with cloth when we moved to Texas, mostly for the heat and for comfort. The frames and the foam are all new, would just need to order the leather coverings. The top is relatively new, though the front end left hand needs to be tidied up a bit. The scissor frame is original, but has been rebuilt/painted.
I've added someadditional photos, pleasesend me any questions or photo requests.
