1978 MGB - Great Driver!!

Nice 1978 MGB! This car is a great daily driver. Starts, runs, shifts, and stops as it should. Idles around 900rpm. Strong oil pressure when running and idling. The car is equipped with a Weber carburetor and a manual choke.
Interior is in good condition. Small crack on the top of the dash. Seats are in good shape with no rips or tears. Carpet is in good condition as well. New radio and speakers installed last year.
The paint looks good from 10 feet. Sprayed BRG by the previous owner (factory color was brown). There is some alligatoring on the hood and several paint chips around the car. Both bumpers are in good condition, but with some noticeable wear. Very nice wire wheels. Tires need replaced. The top and boot cover are in good condition with no holes. All snaps are in place to secure the top and cover. There is some wear on the top where it latches on the back of the car.
Overall body condition is straight and solid with very little rust. Trunk lid is slightly out of alignment from someone trying to shut the trunk without unlatching the hold open. The original hold open for the hood is included, but it is not attached to the hood.
The car drives well and shifts smoothly. New battery and battery tender recently installed. New spark plugs and ignition switch installed too. Oil, oil filter, and air filter all recently changed. Other non-installed parts & accessories include: water pump, fan belt, fuel filter, car cover, and several books.
If I had more space I would absolutely keep this car. It is a fun driver and doesn't need a whole lot to make it into a fantastic vehicle. Unfortunately I don't have the space or time to give it the attention it deserves. If you're looking for an affordable MGB - this is the one!

Clean title in hand. The Odometer reads 42,755, but the title lists the miles as "beyond mechanical limits"
