1962 MG MK1 Midget RESTO-MOD

Description

1962 MG Midget - fully restored (mechanically), rebuilt rear end with 3.90, new gas tank, new rear suspension with tube shock conversion, 100% new front suspension, new a-arms kingpins/bushings, new tapered wheel bearings, lowering “race” springs, rebuilt lever shocks, and disk brake conversion. Staggered minilite wheels (13x5 and 13x6). Original 948 which was rebuilt about 2 years ago has Mini single carb manifold with HIF6 carb, aluminum radiator with electric fan, runs great! 100% re-wired with LED lights! Original smooth case gear box that shifts through all gears! Car runs, drives and stops great! Have to see it to appreciate it! Only negative is the body. I’m not a body guy and the work is, well, not good. Still a head turner but not a show car by any stretch. I’m sure I am missing something but I’ve invested thousands into this resto-mod and only want $4000! I also have a rebuilt 1275 (no lead) and ribcase that I can include in the deal for an additional $1000...
