This well kept MGB comes from a family of british cars. The two MGBs in this family were his and hers, and now this one (hers) no longer get the attention it deserves. It's a 1977 all original, chartreuse yellow MG. This is a well cared for car, with a new starter and new master and slave clutch cylinders installed within the past year. (Paperwork and receipts available) The car has wire wheels ( a desirable option) and a functional 4 speed+overdrive transmission (an even more desirable option), in effect giving you 5 speeds and making high way cruising less of a chore. The car needs nothing mechanically, it has great oil pressure, recent oil and rear diff oil. It's super well tuned and is capable around the city and highway. Heat works, radio is older but fitting with car vintage, and works. The speakers behind the original grills are new 3-way polypropylene cones. All lights work, hazards switch works, interior map light works, all running lights around the car work. Top has a repaired tear, but is completely functional. has a zippered rear window and although is seldom up, it's capable of keeping out rain and wind when required. This not a concourse winning car, but more so suited to individuals that will actually drive it, and is set up to be enjoyed year-round depending on where you live. The paint has some chips on the front from highway cruising, which the car does with aplomb. The doors show touch up paint attempts by previous owner, but over all it's a pretty color, and being a light color the blemished fade away past 12 feet. Car comes with a tonneau cover, touch up paint, car cover, manuals/books, some spares, headlight covers, soft top bow, hammer and wheel removal wrench, original jack and receipts. Test drives from serious buyers are welcome. This will make reliable driver for someone, that will be if not a daily, then certainly a weekend car. I'm hoping to pass this on to someone who will enjoy it for what it is, and the 'buy-it-now' price is indicative of the fact. Email for more pictures if you want to see anything else. I will deliver (i.e. drive this car) within 150 miles of 35801 zip code, if arrangements are made to do so with the buyer and deposit paid per auction. That's not the limit of the car, but it is for how far my SO will drive to pick me up.

Going through the paperwork today, I found some things that may matter to those looking for a pedigree, originality and historic records. I cant' post additional photos, as I've reach the 24pic max, but email me if you'd like to see the following curiosities. I have the original documentation from day 1 of this car, to include the so called Leyland "passport to service" that is stamped as "Personal Export Delivery" leading me to believe that this car may have been picked up in England and brought to the US by the original owner whose name is listed therein. The date of delivery is 13 October 1977, with a pre-delivery inspection/stamp from French&Foxwell, in Surrey, UK. There's an initial maintenance stamp from Leyland GmbH, in Heidelberg. The other is a "Service in Europe", a catalog of service centers across Europe. A period Leyland map and the MGB Driver's Handbook (1977) that must have been delivered with the car. Other inserts from then are present, as well as various printouts that range from how to refill/rebuild the lever shocks to how to adjust the already properly functioning water heated carburettor.
