1976 MG Midget MK IV Convertible 2-Door 1.5L

Selling my MG MIdget. I got the car for my wife to have a cheap around town car but she never drives it and it just sits. Starts right up and dives nicely. We recently tuned up the 1500cc motor with new plugs, filters, oil change, checked the belts etc. and did the brakes and clutch hydraulics.Paint looks original and it cleans up OK. Car does have a rust area in the scuttle in front of the passengers fender. this is common to the Sprite/midget and easily repaired. All the lights etc work although in the pics you can see someone broke the reartaillightand I will have to get a replacement. Interior is original and is in decent condition but does need a good cleaning. The top is brand new as can be seen in the pictures. It was being fitted as the pictures were being taken and looks a bit "off" but it has been completed and looks as it should. The rear decklid was damaged at some point and will need to be replaced or repaired. It not closed in the picture but it does close and latch, but does not look "right".
Includes the top "boot" as wel.This is a fun, peppy car to drive and will make an excellent running restoration or just a good driver. It does not need any major work or restoration and would be a great "starter" car.I do have this car listed in several places and the auction may be ended early if it sells locally.
