1968 MG MGB Roadster Project
Description
I acquired this project 1968 MG MGB from a gentleman who was selling his property to a friend of mine. He had driven it into a large, metal storage building about 20 years ago and never looked back. It is an un-restored example that needs some "TLC". What you see is what you get. It is a project, it is 50 years old.The vehicle will run if it is gotten back up on its feet with fresh gas, new oil and a little bit of elbow grease. This MG has the stock powertrain (1.8L I-4) mated to the 4-speed manual transmission. It is original. As with most MGBs, there is some undercarriage rust but very little rust on the actual body of the car. . I have taken pictures detailing this which you can see in this ad. If need be I can take additional photos or video upon request. Body is in pretty good condition andI do have the seats to the car.Tires would need to obviously be replaced for driving, but they do work for rolling.Chrome bumpers, most light units, carbs. all in good shape. The frame to the convertible top is functional, but is lacking the fabric for the top.
"Commission Number" is G23N006125.
I have the car in my enclosed storage unit in Southeast Memphis and am willing to meet anyone there who wishes to see the car in person first. You will need to haul the car off on a trailer from there. However, I can assist you in securing shipping via my connections in the industry at a very competitive rate. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via eMail or telephone. I have left my cellular at the bottom of the listing and you may text it or call it. A clear TN title can be obtained for about $120.00, which I'm willing to do if requested. With my job I am on the phone most all day long, so sometimes cannot answer immediately but always return calls if a message is left on the answering machine.
