1978 MG MGB Sport Convertible -- Need to sell!!
Description
My father-in-law was theoriginal owner of this car and hebought it new in 1978. My wife bought it off her mother in 2015 after her father died. It has only been driven about 8-10 times in the three years we have owned it. The car runs fine, but there is a wiring issue somewhere and if you don't disconnect the battery when you turn it off, it will drain the battery until it won't crank. There's a quick disconnect at the battery terminal that makes this an easy workaround.
I have an entire folder of original receipts and all the service records from my father-in-law who was meticulous in maintaining the car. It has had a paint job in the last eight years. It also has a burlwood dash upgrade and the leather interior was replaced in 2007.
Trying to get rid of this car to free up garage space. My wife bought it out of sentimentality after her father died even though we didn't have a need for it. She's finally able to let the car go to a good home.
