Up for auction is my friends 1976 MGB . She sports the highly sought after wire wheel option, she's been fully serviced and sports her original paint. This a solid rust free car with no signs of rust or rust repairs. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding.This is you chance to get a very nice looking, running and driving MGB priced way the heck below the current market value.
Please take time to read the auction in full. This is not your run of the Mill MGB. Car is priced way below market price but open to fair / reasonable offers. Mechanical s:The car runs great and drives very nicely. Car starts right up with no issues, smoke or noises even after sitting for long periods of time. Car holds right around 60 lbs of oil pressure when warm. Runs drives great with no issues that I'm aware of. Shifts up / down all gears with no issues (no binding or grinding ). Great throttle response. No body squeaksor rattles when driving the car. The car was just serviced with a tune up, oil change and coolant fluid changed. Other recent items include include New front / Rear brakes, New brake Master cylinder, new brake hose, New brake wheel cylinders, new fuel pump New fuel lines and a few other new itmes. The wire wheels are correct knock off style and not the "Cheap" bolt on type you see added to other listed on MGB's / eBay
Gauges:All gauges are correct " Smith " branded and are in proper working order at this time.
Electrical's :This area is in exceptionally good condition with the following items in proper working order. Head lights work ( high and low beam ), front maker lights work, front indicator lights work, front side markers work, front running light work, rear running lights work, rear indicator lights work, rear side maker lights work, rear brake lights work, rear back up lights work, licenceplate lights works, hazard light switch works, horn works, blower fan works, windshield wipers work, stereo works, trunk light works and the courtesy / map light works. Car still retains the original British Leyland AM / FM radio and yes it works as well. Try to find one like this !!
Exterior:The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person. Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. Car sports the high end wire wheels which are wrapped in like new radial tires. She has the chrome luggage rack. Very straight body panels and nice panel fit. A true Jem given what is out here for sale. Nice presentable 43 year old car which has been well taken care of. Note: Original paint so a good waxing will be needed in the future to maintain her and improve her shine. No paint bubbles I can find anywhere on the car. Bumpers look Great !!New wiper arms and blades.Interior:Looks nice and tidy as seen in the photos. Don't see many this nice. New sun visor, new floor mats, and recent seats and door panels. very presentable
Soft Top:The soft is very nice as seen in the photos. Zip out rear window.
Covers:Car comes with a top cover as seen in the photos.
Trunk:The trunk is rock solid. Car comes with spare wire wheel / tire, original jack and repair manual.
