Description

Fresh paint, restored wheels, new tires, good original interior, very good top. Mechanical upgrades including twin SU carbs, euro exhaust, lowered with euro springs, backdated with new bumpers, valence and grille. All chrome new or good original. Runs and drives as it should and much quicker than most Bs. This car was originally equipped with an overdrive and its still there working great. Much better on the highway than the basic 4 speed.
If you wanted the perfect MGB driver this car has all the things you would do already done. Some are easy and cheap some are rather spendy, but its all been done. The one area to improve is the interior. There is one tear in the drivers seat and the carpet is worn. If that was done the car would be worth close to $20k.
Spring is coming, open the door and sit in the comfortable seat. Pull the manual choke out all the way and turn it slightly clockwise to lock it. Twist the key and listen to the unmistakable"rorty" Britishengine note. depress the light clutch and with a little gas it moves easilyaway. Accelerate up through the gears and enjoy the satisfyingsnick of the shifter as it changes gears, with the top down the wind is in your hair and the car has transported you back to a time when you had to actually "drive" your cars and they delivered a real experience, and chance to make memories instead of just getting where you want to go.
Yes, this is near the top of the MGB market pricet, but its very good and very worth it! You couldn'tduplicate this car for what I am asking. Make an offer, the worst I can say is no!
