1966 MGB - Steel Dash - Less than 51K Original Miles
Description
This 1966, steel dash MGB has had a complete nut and bolt restoration. Completely torn down and rebuilt in 2007, it has 50,685 original miles. Engine rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago by Renaissance Restorations of Holly Springs, GA. Vehicle mechanically checked out in 2018 by a local Triumph restoration shop (1147cc.com). This is a solid Southern car. It features new brake calipers and pads, stainless steel exhaust, new carpet, new hood (top), new interior panels (Moss Motors), chrome wire wheels. new windscreen, new steering wheel and new boot (trunk) carpet set. Leather seats are original to vehicle and in good shape. There is evidence of wear on the driver's seat as shown in the photo. The tachometer needs to be hooked up. Why would anyone give up a nice, low mileage MGB roadster? That's easy to answer. I have four antique cars in a three car garage - four post lift makes that possible. I am restoring yet another vehicle and must make room for the latest addition. Given the condition of this vehicle, I am hoping for someone to buy it that will enjoy it as much as I have. There's not much that this one needs to be complete. While I believe the asking price to be very fair, I will entertain reasonable offers. The wife says "Sell that car."
